Shooting a commercial at Fort Point

About Me

I’m a sixth generation Bay Area native who loves acting and performing improv. I also have a serious staring problem. Ever since I was little, I used to get called out for staring at people. When I was younger, I vividly remember an older woman at a hotel pool ask me, “what are you staring at little girl?” I snapped right out of it and said, “oh, that little birdy over there.” Of course, I was staring at her and she knew it. Nowadays, A) I’m able to hide it better, and B) most people are staring down at their phones, but I’m innately curious about people, and this curiosity has been quite useful in my acting.

I act because it allows me to utilize my imagination and personal experiences to invoke a persona that tells a story which can ultimately affect the viewer emotionally. I enjoy every acting experience, because through it, I get to have an emotional discovery with myself and with the audience. I also love to make people laugh.
